Industrial sector

  • Description: Fraud investigation carried out in a company in the industrial sector that involved various managers. A spare parts company experienced a drastic drop in billing volume, coinciding with the identification of a new entity in the market. This entity recorded a proportional increase in its sales that coincided with the decrease in the spare parts business. This led to the filing of a complaint for alleged unfair administration and discovery and disclosure of secrets.
  • Work carried out: Detailed analysis of the total sales of the new company, which has revealed the absence of causality from an economic perspective between the decrease in sales of the spare parts business and the increase in the total sales of the new company. Likewise, after a thorough examination of other circumstances, we confirm that there has been no diversion of business or misuse of intellectual property. We also found that the complainant company went through financial problems that could have impacted the decrease in sales of spare parts.
  • Result: Favorable ruling for our client.
